Walther PDP F-Series PRO
As of a few days ago, the Walther Performance Duty Pistol lineup has a new member. The PDP F-Series PRO pistol is the latest model in a line specifically designed for modern shooters.
The new PDP F-Series PRO is available in two models, one with a 3.5-inch barrel and a 4-inch-barrel version, which sizes this pistol for a number of applications, from professional duty pistol tasks to everyday carry.
Walther PDP F-Series PRO Specs
“With the launch of this series, we’re delivering a firearm that not only meets but exceeds the demands of today’s shooters.
“Whether for professional duty or personal defense, the PDP F-Series PRO is designed to perform at the highest level, providing shooters with the confidence and reliability they need,” said Rob McCanna, President and CEO of Walther Arms, Inc.
PDP F-Series PRO Features
Advanced Ergonomics
Reduced grip circumference and a more natural grip angle allow this series of pistols to fit the hands of more shooters, better — and that means better comfort and control, which is enhanced by Walther’s Performance Duty Texture.
Aluminum Magwell and Basepads
Designed for rapid, reliable reloads, which means these pistols can be a solid choice for competitive shooters, as well as professionals.
Optics Ready
Both pistols come ready to accept a red-dot sight, as all modern handguns should.
The New Walther PPK/S SD in .32 ACP — It’s Suppressor-Ready
Walther’s most iconic pistol just got better. Check out the new PPK/S SD with a threaded barrel — it’s available now from Walther dealers! It’s time to get your Bond on!
The PPK has had suppressors attached to it in plenty of movies, this is the first in its lineage to come from the factory with a threaded barrel, making this compact .32 ACP pistol suppressor-ready out of the box.
The newest PPK/S SD marries the classic features of the pistol line while incorporating modern technology to truly update this classic for modern shooters, and being suppressor-ready is part of that.
"The PPK/S SD .32 ACP is a celebration of Walther’s legacy of precision engineering and innovation," McCanna said. "By integrating modern features like the threaded barrel into such an iconic design, we've created a firearm that bridges the gap between timeless style and contemporary performance. We're excited to offer our customers a PPK/S that not only meets but exceeds the expectations of modern shooters."
Walther PPK/S SD .32 ACP Specs
The PPK/S SD retains the classic fixed-barrel design patented by Carl Walther back in 1929 with the original Walther PP model, which contributed to its reputation for accuracy and reliability. Plus, the .32 ACP chambering makes this pistol accessible to practically any shooter, and nice and quiet paired with the right can.
The pistol features a thumb safety that also serves as a decocker for the double-action pistol for an added level of safety when operating and carrying the gun.
The big new feature on this model — the threaded barrel — is designed with a special extension piece to maintain proper alignment and thickness, guaranteeing a secure fit for a suppressor when attached, according to Walther.
Walther PPK/S SD .32 ACP Features
.32 ACP Chambering
While other current-production PPK models are available in .380 ACP (and .22 LR), the .32 chambering makes the small pistol extremely controllable with manageable recoil while maintaining effective performance as both a concealed-carry option and as a target pistol.
Threaded Barrel
This is the first factory-threaded PPK barrel offered by Walther, making it ready for a suppressor or even a compensator.
Fixed-Barrel, Semi-Auto Design
The classic fixed-barrel blowback design is simple and time-tested.
Rotating Safety/Decocker
The PPK/S SD also includes the iconic rotating safety/decocker, ensuring safe handling and ease of use, allowing shooters to confidently carry and operate their firearm.
The OG Walther PP Is Back With a Modern Overhaul!
The original Walther PP pistol is back! This is the gun that started it all back in 1929 when Carl Walther introduced it as the Polizeipistole intended for use by European police departments in the 1930s.
Now, for the first time in a long time, you can easily get a PP pistol in the U.S. that’s 100% made by Walther.
The PP is a bit bigger than the PPK, as it was designed to be a duty pistol carried in an OWB holster. The more familiar PPK is a downsized version of the PP with a shooter grip, barrel, and frame. It’s essentially the compact version that was intended for concealed carry. The PPK/S is yet another version that was created as a slightly larger, heavier PPK so that it could abide by U.S. importation laws. Today, Walther makes the PP line at its U.S. facility in Arkansas.
New Walther PP Specs
The original PP became a fast favorite among European law enforcement of the time and civilian shooters dug it because of its comfortable handling and remarkable performance.
“We are incredibly excited to bring back the Walther PP, a firearm that holds a special place in the history of our company and in the hearts of shooters worldwide,” McCanna said. “This new version of the PP honors its classic design while incorporating modern advancements that make it a truly exceptional firearm for today’s shooters. Whether for personal defense, collection, or historical appreciation, the Walther PP offers unmatched quality, precision, and performance.”
So what’s new on this updated version?
While the PP has been chambered in a number of cartridges, the new version is available in .380 ACP or .32 ACP — two classic compact handgun cartridges that have great options available on the ammo market for target shooting and self-defense.
The new model retains the origins’s lines and ergonomics but with upgraded materials and finishes for better durability and reliability in a range of environments.
The classic fixed-barrel, blowback design is still here, as is the rotating safety/decocker mechanism that has been there since the beginning — a decidedly modern feature for 1929.
The updated Walther PP is available now!
